Half an Hour of Organ Sound in the Martinskirche

In the midst of the pre-Christmas season, the Martinskirche in Kassel invites you to a special musical moment. Under the title „Organ Music for the Christmas Market – Silence and Sound”, a half-hour concert featuring organist Peer Schlechta will take place.

The program includes works by four prominent composers of organ music: Louis Lefébure-Wély, Jehan Alain, Olivier Messiaen, and César Franck. Their compositions provide the concert with a diverse musical profile and highlight the sonic possibilities of the organ.

Music in the Martinskirche

The venue is the Martinskirche located at Martinsplatz 5a in Kassel. The church offers the perfect setting for a short break from the hustle and bustle of the Christmas market.
