Sari Schorr brings Running Wild to Kassel
On October 5, 2026, the Theaterstübchen Kassel will transform into a stage for electrifying blues rock: Sari Schorr presents her new studio album on her Running Wild European Tour, combining raw energy with soul, classic rock, and great emotional depth.
A voice between intimacy and explosion
Sari Schorr from New York is one of the distinctive voices in modern blues rock. Her five-octave voice effortlessly moves between vulnerable closeness, powerful peaks, and dramatic stage performance. On stage, Schorr doesn't just sing a song; she instantly draws the audience into its story.
Running Wild: Freedom, resilience, and desire
The album Running Wild will be released on Provogue Records and continues Schorr's musical development. The songs blend classic rock, blues, and soul with cinematic depth. Central themes include desire, resilience, freedom, and personal transformation. Precise arrangements, grooving rhythms, and an expressive vocal dramaturgy create the sound for an intense concert experience.
Experience that becomes palpable on stage
Schorr has earned performances at renowned stages and festivals, including Carnegie Hall and the Montreux Jazz Festival. Her collaboration with Robin Trower led to the album Joyful Sky, which reached number one on the Billboard Blues Charts. Trower described Schorr as stunning and compared her impact to dynamite.
International band, immediate live sound
In Kassel, Sari Schorr will be joined on stage by Ash Wilson on guitar, Russ Parker on drums, Carl Stanbridge on bass, and Bennett Holland on keyboards. The lineup promises a tight interplay of guitar accents, bouncy bass, powerful drums, and atmospheric keyboard work. The sound shifts within a heartbeat from complete silence to explosive energy.
