Resonance Spaces

From March 6, 2026 to January 24, 2027The exhibition for the 50th anniversary of the New Gallery showcases key acquisitions from recent years – primarily large-scale installations, films, and objects that deal with collective and personal memories. Since its opening in 1976, the gallery has used its documenta connection to incorporate international positions and new media into the collection. The works presented unfold a network of memory and history: Pinar Ögrenci addresses collaborative remembering in Aşît, Jürgen O. Olbrich collects discarded photographs, Michal Heiman questions psychological test structures, and Ute Lindner reflects on time and image traditions in her “Exposure Times”.
