Film classics, clowning, and children's laughter at Circus Rambazotti
At the Cirkino Circus Holiday Workshop in Kassel, children and teenagers turn into little stage stars. Amid film classics, comedy, clowning, and sound-pantomime, a creative family experience unfolds that combines movement, imagination, and collective learning.
Big cinema to participate in
The focus is on the great clowns of Hollywood and the silent film era. Participants discover Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton, and other influential filmmakers while learning the basics of comedy. It isn't just about watching: in comedy training, they experiment with their own ideas and develop short scenes.
Stumbling, playing, and performing bravely
Theatrical falls, stumbling, and humorous movements are tested in a child-friendly manner. The exercises promote body awareness, expression, and self-confidence. At the same time, children experience how individual ideas can lead to a joint stage piece through cooperation and consideration for each other.
Sounds make pictures come alive
Using voice, simple percussion, and sound effects, participants soundtrack short scenes. This learning experience connects music, acting, and film design. Children discover how sounds create tension, characterize characters, and make stories more understandable.
Creatively together during the autumn holidays
The workshop takes place from October 8 to 9, 2026, each day from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Circushaus Rambazotti. In cooperation with Filmladen, Mädchenhaus Kassel, and the Youth Migration Service, a safe environment for creative development, teamwork, and age-appropriate fun is created.
The grand finale in the ring
At the end, participants experience a movie and present their own scenes in the ring of Circus Rambazotti. This transforms the holiday activity into a special stage moment: children showcase what they have developed together and receive appreciation for their courage, ideas, and perseverance.
Conclusion: A holiday experience full of imagination and applause
Cirkino combines film, theater, music, and circus into a vibrant children's event in Kassel. Families can look forward to a creative holiday workshop filled with children's laughter, movement, wonder, and shared time. Those who enjoy clowning, sounds, and big stage moments will experience an extraordinary family adventure at Rambazotti.
