Join Caro Ruoff, poet and performer, on a practical journey of discovery, where we highlight the profound in the everyday through poetry and video art. In this workshop, we will go beyond the written word and explore how everyday observations and scenes can become carriers of our personal stories. We will use various writing exercises, city observations, poetic performance strategies, and our mobile phone cameras. We will tell our stories both through the lens and over the microphone. No prior knowledge of poetry or video production is required. This workshop is aimed at everyone who is curious about the intersection of poetry and performance.
