Right into the stage experience: Kulturva SILVER in Kassel
On November 3, 2026, Studio Lev Kassel e.V. opens the door to the world of theater for children aged 8 to 12. At Kulturva SILVER, theater is not only watched but also actively experienced: Together with professionals, participants learn basic theater skills, choose a play, and develop their own stage version step by step.
Getting a taste of theater and developing own ideas
At the beginning, playful engagement with the stage takes place. Body, voice, movement, and imagination become tools of acting. The group discovers how a first idea becomes a scene and how characters are shaped through presence, expression, and interaction.
Dramaturgy as a collective process
The children select a play and actively shape the rehearsal process. This brings dramaturgy directly into focus: scenes are experimented with, changed, connected, and examined for their impact. Directing and acting intertwine as the group develops their own approach to the story.
Studio Lev as a sociocultural theater space
Studio Lev Kassel is a non-profit, sociocultural theater association that combines musical stage projects, theater and dance offerings, as well as transgenerational cultural projects. Cultural participation, fostering young talent, and a shared path to an artistic result are at the center. Kulturva SILVER continues this work in an age-appropriate and open manner.
Practical tips for young theater fans
For the theater workshop, comfortable sports clothing and something to drink should be brought along. No prior knowledge is required. Participation is aimed at children aged 8 to 12 and is free of charge. For information and registration, you can contact anmeldung@studiolevkassel.de.
The stage experience begins on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at 4:00 PM and is expected to last until 6:00 PM. The theater atmosphere is created not only at a finished premiere but already in the collective inventing, rehearsing, and transforming.
Conclusion: Take theater into your own hands
Kulturva SILVER invites children to find their voice, try on roles, and experience the magic of the stage up close. Those who want to not only see theater but also shape it will find an open space for imagination, courage, and collaborative play at Studio Lev. Register now and experience your first own stage moment.
