Opening Hours, Location, and Directions to City-Point Kassel

The opening hours of City-Point Kassel are clear and practical for everyday use: the center is open from Monday to Saturday from 9:30 AM to 8:00 PM, and closed on Sundays. This makes the center fit well into the classic shopping rhythm of the city center, whether you are using a lunch break for errands or spontaneously stopping by in the afternoon. The address is Königsplatz 61, 34117 Kassel, right in the urban center and directly at the pedestrian zone. This location makes City-Point attractive for visitors from Kassel and the surrounding area, as many routes can be quickly and conveniently accessed on foot, by public transport, or directly from the city center. ([city-point-kassel.de](https://www.city-point-kassel.de/service/))

The directions are also designed for short, understandable routes. The official service page lists the A7, A44, and A49 as well as the B3, B7, B83, B251, and B520 as car connections, which is especially practical for visitors from the region. Those arriving by bus or train benefit from several lines stopping directly in front of the center or the facility being easily accessible. Additionally, the center service mentions 20 bicycle parking spaces and refers to a centrally located area that is also suitable for spontaneous visits. This is complemented by an interactive site map and a 3D wayfinding system that quickly guides visitors to the desired shops or dining areas. ([city-point-kassel.de](https://www.city-point-kassel.de/service/))

Especially for search queries like City Point Kassel opening hours shops or City Point Kassel photos, it is important to know that the center operates not only during business hours but is also perceived as a well-organized city center. The website offers a dedicated area for impressions, a center map, service information, and other digital aids. This allows visitors to better plan their stay in advance and see where routes can be shortened before their visit. For a shopping center in a vibrant city center, this is a relevant advantage because you do not have to search for orientation on-site but can get a good overview with just a few clicks. Parking at City-Point Kassel: Parking Garage, Fees, and Opening Hours

The City Point parking garage is an essential part of the visitor experience and is described on the official pages as bright, safe, clean, and clear. It is located in the shopping gallery of the same name directly at the pedestrian zone, with the entrance and exit at the corner of Mauerstraße and Hedwigstraße. According to the city of Kassel, the parking garage has an entrance height of 2 meters, women's and disabled parking spaces, as well as an elevator to the shops. This is especially practical for visitors who want to start directly in the center without having to plan long distances from the car to shopping. ([city-point-kassel.de](https://www.city-point-kassel.de/service/anfahrt/parken/parken/))

Especially relevant for those specifically looking for City Point Kassel parking garage opening hours: the parking garage is open from Monday to Saturday from 7:00 AM to 9:15 PM, and closed on Sundays and public holidays. The center page also states that over 1,000 vehicles use the more than 220 parking spaces daily. The rates are as follows: the first hour costs 2.00 euros, the second hour also 2.00 euros, the third hour 2.50 euros, and each additional started hour 2.50 euros; the maximum daily rate is 20.00 euros, and in case of loss of the parking ticket, a fee of 20.00 euros applies. This clear fee structure is particularly helpful for longer shopping visits, as you can estimate the costs in advance. ([city-point-kassel.de](https://www.city-point-kassel.de/service/anfahrt/parken/parken/))

The parking garage is not only functional but also caters to various visitor groups. With its proximity to the pedestrian zone, the direct elevator, and designated special spaces, it is of interest to families, older visitors, and people with limited mobility, as well as commuters or city center guests. Especially in conjunction with the central location at Königsplatz, parking here acts as a logistical component of the entire center visit: arrive, take a quick lift, and go directly to shopping. Those arriving from the surrounding area also benefit from the fact that the parking garage is located in a city center area that can be combined with a short walk through Kassel. City-Point Kassel Shops: Saturn, New Yorker, Bershka & More

When searching for City Point Kassel shops, Saturn, or New Yorker, the center is particularly interesting due to its wide brand mix. The official website features Saturn, Bijou Brigitte, H&M, Intersport Voswinkel, mister*lady, dm-drogerie markt, Calzedonia, Tom Tailor, Only, and Hunkemöller; additionally, New Yorker, Bershka, Vodafone, pharmacy in City-Point, FOTOFIX, and ReMass are directly available as their own shop pages. This is exactly the mix that visitors expect in an urban shopping center: fashion, technology, beauty, sports, services, and small everyday helpers all in one place. Thus, City-Point is suitable for both targeted purchases and spontaneous strolls without a fixed plan. ([city-point-kassel.de](https://www.city-point-kassel.de/en/?utm_source=openai))

For fashion-oriented visitors, New Yorker, Bershka, Only, Tom Tailor, and Hunkemöller are particularly relevant. New Yorker describes itself as a young fashion provider and is represented in City Point Kassel on the ground floor and first floor. Bershka targets a young, urban audience, while Tom Tailor focuses on casual lifestyle and Hunkemöller specializes in lingerie and underwear. Intersport Voswinkel caters to a different, more functional shopping intention with its sports assortment and is located on the second floor according to the shop page. This distribution shows that City-Point Kassel is not just a fashion center but a versatile mix where different shopping occasions coexist. ([city-point-kassel.de](https://www.city-point-kassel.de/shops/new-yorker/?utm_source=openai))

Technology and everyday purchases are also strongly represented. Saturn brings consumer electronics, household appliances, and computer products to the center, Vodafone represents telecommunications and digital services, and the pharmacy in City-Point complements the offering with health and drugstore needs. Additional details like FOTOFIX for passport photos and ReMass as a relaxation zone with massage offerings round out the center beyond classic shopping. This is an advantage for search queries like City Point Kassel pharmacy or City Point Kassel Saturn, as the user receives not just a store but a complete, well-organized center with many short paths. Dining at City-Point Kassel: Food Point, Ramen, Döner, and Cafés

Gastronomy is one of the strongest themes at City-Point Kassel. The Food Point on the third floor is considered a special highlight of the center and offers several gastronomic providers and over 200 seats according to the official page. The view from there is particularly attractive: you can see the Druselturm and the Martinskirche as well as a panoramic view from the Söhre to the Habichtswald. For this reason, the Food Point is more than just a dining area; it is a place to take a conscious break from the shopping day to relax, eat something, or meet up. ([city-point-kassel.de](https://www.city-point-kassel.de/center/food-point/?utm_source=openai))

Those looking to eat at City Point Kassel will find a mix of fast food, Asian cuisine, snacks, and coffee. The tenants mentioned in the Food Point include Haiky Asian Food, Fries Lovers, Take Out Burger, Pizza Point, Thai Gourmet, Kentucky Fried Chicken, and Usta Karagöz Döner. Additionally, Café Bella and Dunkin' are represented as culinary offerings; Ramen Ippin adds to the spectrum with ramen and Asian-inspired bowls. This makes the center suitable for a wide variety of tastes, from a quick snack to a relaxed break with coffee and cake. ([city-point-kassel.de](https://www.city-point-kassel.de/services/food-point-s20884/?utm_source=openai))

This culinary diversity is particularly practical for families, groups, and short lunch breaks, as you hardly need to divert from the center itself. The Food Point is integrated in such a way that you can sit down directly after shopping; additionally, there are even mobile charging stations for smartphones according to the service area. This fits well with the character of a modern city center: not just shopping, but also lingering, charging, eating, and perhaps planning the next shopping segment. The combination of view, seating, and various cuisines makes City-Point Kassel significantly more versatile in culinary terms than many classic shopping addresses. ([city-point-kassel.de](https://www.city-point-kassel.de/en/services/charging-station-s19819/?utm_source=openai))

Vouchers, Photos, Jobs, and Services at City-Point Kassel

Another common search term is City Point Kassel voucher. Here, too, the website is well set up: there is a dedicated center voucher area where visitors can buy vouchers online and redeem them in many participating shops. Among the popular redemption locations are H&M, dm-drogerie markt, New Yorker, Saturn, Only, Nanu-Nana, and Intersport Voswinkel. For companies, there is even a separate corporate customer variant, and the voucher values can be chosen flexibly. This makes City-Point not just a shopping location but also a practical gift address for family, friends, or employees. ([city-point-kassel.de](https://www.city-point-kassel.de/centergutschein/?utm_source=openai))

Those searching for City Point Kassel photos will find the impressions section on the center's website with several images of the center and its facade. This is helpful for visitors who want to get an idea of the mall's style in advance, and also for anyone wanting to visually place the shopping center in a post or on a location page. Additionally, there is an interactive center map, a site plan, and digital orientation aids in the service area. A 3D wayfinding system helps visitors quickly get from the entrance area to the desired shop or dining area. ([city-point-kassel.de](https://www.city-point-kassel.de/center/impressionen/?utm_source=openai))

The search term City Point Kassel jobs also fits the center: the menu has a dedicated jobs section and other service points directly accessible, and the website regularly incorporates content on leasing, careers, and partner inquiries. For visitors themselves, the barrier-free restrooms, the ability to charge phones in the Food Point, and good orientation in the center are important services. This creates a location that is not only intended for shopping but functions as a modern everyday place: inform, park, eat, shop, and if necessary, even make professional or business contacts. ([city-point-kassel.de](https://www.city-point-kassel.de/service/))

History, Architecture, and Special Highlights at Königsplatz

The City-Point Kassel also has an interesting location history. According to Deutsche EuroShop, the center opened in 2002; the portfolio and business report data also mention restructuring or modernization in 2009 and 2015. For the classification as a city center location, it is also relevant that the center includes around 60 specialty stores or about 70 shops and a rental or sales area complex of approximately 20,000 square meters. The official statements describe City-Point as a lively marketplace that connects retail, services, and gastronomy. Thus, it exemplifies the modern German urban shopping model. ([deutsche-euroshop.de](https://www.deutsche-euroshop.de/Shoppingcenter/Portfolio/City-Point-Kassel?utm_source=openai))

Architecturally and visually, the indirectly illuminated facade stands out. The center's page mentions over 82,000 LEDs that give the building a distinctive presence at Königsplatz and points out that the center won the Innovation Award for Light in 2002. Additionally, the glass-covered promenade is not only functional but makes the stay more pleasant and creates the feeling of an urban boulevard. This mix of light, glass, and open pathways is a key reason why City-Point Kassel does not appear as an anonymous shopping block but as a recognizable part of the city center. ([city-point-kassel.de](https://www.city-point-kassel.de/center/ueber-uns/?utm_source=openai))

Content-wise, the center remains current because it sensibly combines brands, gastronomy, and services. Deutsche EuroShop cites a leasing status of 79 percent and 7.5 million visitors for 2024; the center's own page simultaneously emphasizes the strong role of fashion, technology, and the Food Point. This shows that the location has been continuously developed since its opening in 2002 and still plays an important role in the Kassel center. So, for those looking for a place that combines shopping, dining, parking, and city center location, City-Point Kassel offers an address with clear structure, high recognizability, and many practical advantages. Great shopping spot in the heart of Kassel. Nice mix of stores, clean facilities, and easy to navigate. Some food options and close to public transport. Perfect for a quick stop or a full shopping day. Need more better food options.

One of the worse shopping malls in Germany. From outside, it certainly looks promising. But considering it was built in 2000, the architect himself was anything but a visionary. The design is impractical and limits growth potential. Despite it being a glass building, there is little to no daylight at all in the walking area of the mall, because the windows are covered for the most part. There is a small section with a view in the Cafe Zanetti, otherwise the only source of daylight is from the ceiling, which only illuminates the center with escalators and nothing else. The mall not only lacks natural light but artificial light, as well. It's overall pretty dark and gloomy, even on a sunny day. There's no outdoor seatings - an error made by the architect. Nobody involved in the project was thinking about comfort when this place was designed. The food locations are cramped and not cozy at all. The food-dedicated food point has the charm of an airport and the selection of food stalls is poor with bad food to boot. The view consists of staring at an oversized and misplaced Saturn, which doesn't invite a sense of comfort with its cold and bland storefront. There's a general lack of seating. KFC is the only saving grace with a surprisingly better than average and tastier chicken than other KFCs in Germany. The pseudo-indian (Afghan owned) and pseudo-thai (Vietnamese owned) food stalls can't be recommended at all. The food is inauthentic, tasteless (Thai Gourmet's food is even old!) and gives all countries involved a bad name. The selection of stores is poor and below average. There's a lot of fluctuations in stores, as many close and stay closed for several months if not years. The management fails to provide customers with range. There's a lot of slots that haven't seen a store since the lockdown of 2020... I would also advise the management to think a little more seriously about whom they sign a lease with. Some stores really don't make any sense and then naturally close. Know your shoppers is all I can say. You're not La Fayette... The only positive remarks I have are for the New Yorker and H&M store for their sheer size. There's a good selection of products available and both have an upper and lower level. However, in New Yorker, there could be a few more trial rooms - and it would be nicer if they weren't smack dab in the middle of the store, which robs one of a sense of privacy. ONLY is also large with a lower and upper floor, but I haven't been inside as of yet. BERSHKA will soon open in the location where two other stores failed, as far as I know. I like BERSHKA, so let's hope they fare better and have reasonable prices. Otherwise people will just run off to TK Maxx down the road...

Best shopping mall in Kassel. It has various shopping brands like H&M, New Yorker, and DM. Also a huge supermarket with cheap chocolates like Milka and Lindt. The massage chair is amazing. The plaza inside has a beautiful fountain.
