Messe Kassel | Events & Hall Plan

Anyone searching for Messe Kassel today, Messe Kassel opening hours, or Messe Kassel events will find a venue that has been one of the most important trade fair and event addresses in North Hesse for decades. The Messe Kassel at Damaschkestraße 55 is a family-run business that has been organizing fairs and exhibitions since 1961. The official presentation clearly shows what the site stands for: short distances, a central location in the middle of Germany, modern halls, a wide range of public fairs and specialized formats, as well as strong conditions for sports, concerts, congresses, and corporate events. Those looking for an initial overview will find not only the event calendar on the website but also the hall and site plan, information on how to get there, and specific details about parking, hall capacities, and the features of the Rothenbach Hall. This is precisely why Messe Kassel is as interesting for visitors as it is for exhibitors and organizers looking for a versatile and easily accessible venue. Current Events, Today and Opening Hours

The most searched topic around Messe Kassel is the current program. The official event overview is therefore the most important point of contact for anyone wanting to know what is happening today, in the coming weeks, or in the year 2026 on the grounds. The website continuously lists dates, including flea markets, FUNK.TAG Kassel 2026, handball Bundesliga, European League, trainee & student days, ETX, Historica, Parts & Service World, and the Autumn Exhibition 2026. This is particularly relevant for the search intent behind Messe Kassel today, as visitors usually expect not just an address but an immediate overview of the next date, opening hours, and the appropriate access to tickets. Messe Kassel meets this need with its calendar: The Spring Exhibition 2026 is listed there from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, flea markets from 9:00 AM to around 5:00 PM, and individual formats like the girls' flea market or children's bazaar from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. It becomes clear that there is no uniform opening duration for the site, but event-dependent times that vary according to the event. Therefore, anyone searching for Messe Kassel opening hours should always check the respective event instead of assuming a general trade fair operation. The official site also makes it clear that the calendar is the place to find planned highlights and tickets in good time. This way, Messe Kassel answers the search queries about today, program, and opening hours very pragmatically and user-oriented. ([messe-kassel.de](https://www.messe-kassel.de/besucher/))

Tickets, Exhibitors, and Consumer Fairs

A second strong search topic is the question about tickets and exhibitors. Messe Kassel positions itself here not only as a venue but also as a platform for exhibitors and consumer fairs. On the exhibitor page, the company describes that it has been active in the trade fair business since 1961, is a family business, and organizes two consumer fairs annually along with numerous other formats. It also mentions around 800 satisfied exhibitors and approximately 200,000 visitors, highlighting the reach of the in-house fairs. For anyone searching for Messe Kassel tickets or Messe Kassel exhibitor directory 2026, it is important: The website works with the respective trade fair and event pages rather than a general, detached exhibitor list for the entire year. Especially for large public fairs like the Spring Exhibition and Autumn Exhibition, the pages refer to the respective event information and ticket shops. This keeps the path from exhibitor interest to booking or from visitor interest to ticket intentionally short. Messe Kassel also emphasizes its service character: contact persons on-site, sales and communication levels for companies, interesting special topics, and a wide range of target groups. This is important for SEO logic because the search queries for tickets, exhibitor directories, and consumer fairs are usually interconnected. Those looking to exhibit seek information on booth areas, contacts, and reach. Those wanting to visit seek quick access to the program. Messe Kassel addresses both through its official pages and through specific event formats like the Spring Exhibition, Autumn Exhibition, trainee & student days, or trade fairs with direct ticket or info links. Hall Plan, Room Plan, and Capacities

At Messe Kassel, hall plan, room plan, or capacity primarily concerns the question of how flexible the site really is. The official hall overview shows 13 halls with a total of 30,000 m² of exhibition space and capacities from 10 to 15,000 people depending on the room and seating arrangement. The site is described as a place of short distances because all halls are quickly accessible and can be freely combined if desired. Particularly interesting for planners are the specific sizes: Halls 1 and 2 together offer 5,600 m² and can be used with Halls 12 and 13 as a unit of 8,200 m². Halls 3 and 4 provide 2,800 m², are darkenable, and are suitable for large events such as concerts, congresses, meetings, and evening events; according to the official overview, up to 3,600 people can be accommodated there. Halls 10 and 11 have 3,120 m² and can be expanded with Halls 8 and 9 to 5,120 m². Hall 5 offers 3,800 m², while Halls 12 and 13 are each 2,600 m² and suitable for product and company presentations. The hall plan is thus not only a technical document but a central selling point for Messe Kassel as a flexible event location. Those searching for seating plans, hall plans, or room concepts will also find floor plans and detail pages for each hall on the website. This makes it clear that Messe Kassel is designed not only for large consumer fairs but also for compact formats, conferences, evening events, and modular event concepts. This variety is a key reason why the location remains so present among planners and organizers. ([messe-kassel.de](https://www.messe-kassel.de/veranstalter/messegelaende/))

Access, Parking, and Barrier-Free Visit

The search query Messe Kassel parking is one of the strongest practical topics, and the official pages provide clear answers. Messe Kassel is located close to the city and is described as a location in the middle of Germany. Thanks to good transport connections, the site is accessible by car, ICE, and airplane. For train travel, the website names Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe as an important access point; from there, bus line 12 goes directly to the Messehallen stop. A combination of RT5 and bus 12 is described from the main train station, also with clear travel times. Those arriving by car benefit from good motorway access. Particularly relevant for visitors is the statement that over 3,000 free parking spaces are available on-site. Additionally, Messe Kassel mentions bicycle parking in front of the venue. The event overview also highlights a barrier-free site, making the visit easier for different target groups. This combination of a central location, public transport connection, free parking spaces, and barrier-free access makes Messe Kassel a very practical event address. For visitors, this means: Arrival, routes, and return can be planned easily without long walking distances or high additional costs. The mention of nearby accommodation options and the Kassel campsite also shows that Messe Kassel is not only intended for day guests but also for visitors traveling from further away. Especially in connection with Messe Kassel today, Messe Kassel access, and Messe Kassel parking, this is a real added value, as practical mobility often determines whether an event is perceived as relaxed. Flea Market, Technorama, Spring Exhibition, and Other Highlights

Anyone searching for Messe Kassel flea market, Messe Kassel technorama, or Messe Kassel spring exhibition 2026 will encounter the classic public fairs and special events of the house. The official calendar regularly shows flea markets with visitor times from 9:00 AM to around 5:00 PM as well as special formats like the girls' flea market and children's bazaar with entry prices and clear time slots. The Spring Exhibition 2026 is also prominently placed: It ran or runs in the calendar from February 28 to March 8, 2026, and was announced with the special exhibition theme Hola, Mallorca and opening hours from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM. The Autumn Exhibition 2026 follows in the fall and also focuses on trends in household, fashion, and home. Additionally, the official event list shows other profile events such as Technorama, trainee & student days, ETX, Historica, and Parts & Service World 2026. Technorama is described on the Messe Kassel page as one of the largest vintage car parts and motorcycle fairs in Kassel, highlighting the range of the location. Historica, on the other hand, connects history, trade, music, culinary arts, and variety, while Parts & Service World addresses agricultural and gardening technology. From an SEO perspective, this variety is important because it reflects exactly the search patterns that users enter: not just a single event, but themes like flea markets, concerts, family events, career fairs, or specialized trade fairs. Messe Kassel is thus not a monothematic place but a calendar with strong recognition values throughout the year. The mix of popular in-house fairs and specialized formats makes the site attractive to a wide range of target groups and explains why search volumes around programs, tickets, and events remain consistently high. History, Features, and Service of Messe Kassel

The history of Messe Kassel begins, according to the official chronicle, in 1961 or with the early trade fair years starting in 1962 at the Stadthalle | Kongress Palais Kassel. In 1966, the first tent halls were added at the Auestadion, and in 1980, the construction of the first permanent halls 1 and 2 on the site at Damaschkestraße 55 followed. The site then grew step by step: Halls 3 and 4 were built in 1986, halls 5 to 7 in 1990, halls 8 to 9 and 10 to 11 in 1994, halls 12 and 13 in 1998, the entrance hall in 2002, and the Rothenbach Hall in 2007. In 2014, Hall 5 was newly built after the old halls 5 to 7 were demolished. This development clearly shows how consistently the site has been expanded and modernized. Particularly noteworthy is the Rothenbach Hall, which is described as a multifunctional hall with 5,700 m² of total area, 10 m of usable height, column-free interior, sound-acoustic panels, and a visitor capacity of 5,000 people. Additionally, congresses, meetings, and events for up to 300 guests can take place in the two-story entrance area with foyer and adjacent rooms. Messe Kassel thus sees itself not only as an exhibition space but as a flexibly usable event system with technology, gastronomy, media channels, WLAN, and service personnel. The official presentation also emphasizes that the company is family-run and places great importance on short distances, good accessibility, and personal contacts at events. For organizers, this is a strong argument; for visitors, a sign of reliability. Those searching for Messe Kassel 2026 or Messe Kassel concerts 2026 are essentially looking for this mix of tradition, technical capability, and service quality. Messe Kassel provides a developed infrastructure that has been built up over decades and can today confidently support both large public events and specialized formats. This is a great exhibition location as the halls are suitable for a variety of options for either big or small exhibitions. Even the outdoor space helps link up the halls. The carparks are located nearby which is very helpful. Kassel is not a great city to travel to but the trains from Frankfurt work well and then I suggest taxis. Could do with a few more options for refreshments at the exhibitions as just the one cafe was not enough and a long way from some halls. Overall a very good place to visit or exhibit.
