Landruf(t)
In the meadow bordering Alex Ruh in Baunatal/Guntershausen, various works will be showcased for four weeks, related to nature and the local area. "Through the form of presentation, new connections to the landscape, natural conditions, and human influences are created," explains Barbara Wokurka from KulturNetz Kassel and curator of the exhibition. "During the duration of the exhibition, the works will be further shaped by the influences of wind and weather, without human intervention." The exhibits are intentionally exposed to this process. The exhibitors thus establish a connection to natural conditions, human influences, and the constant change of every material. The objects also possess a special aesthetics that challenge viewers to observe closely and allow for surprises while looking. The exhibits by the seven artists and the students of the Theodor-Heuss-Schule draw attention to the relationship between humans and nature. The exhibitors are: Iris Hoffmann Wilburg Kleff Kordula Klose Axel Kretschmer Miriam Leitner Lippold von Steimker Barbara Wokurka. The KultuNnetz collaborates intensively with the city of Baunatal (60 years of Baunatal) as well as the LOK Verein Guntershausen. Through the LOK Verein, other local associations will participate. The opening ceremony will feature performances by the Wohnzimmerchor and the children's choir of the Rengershausen elementary school. Catering during the opening ceremony will also be provided by local associations. The LOK Verein and the city will build on the exhibition and offer various workshops with different artists during the 4-week exhibition period. The exhibits by the artists at Fuldaufer are displayed directly along the R1 and Eco Path. The exhibition area is therefore easily reachable by public transport and is close to the Guntershausen train station from Kassel.

Where the Music Plays
Until August 16, 2026, Kassel has been shaped by numerous concert venues over the past 200 years - from permanent theaters to tents and unusual locations like ships. Some events even made headlines and caused disruptions. The current special exhibition at the Spohr Museum brings this concert history back to life. Citizens of Kassel have contributed posters, photos, and memorabilia for this. The museum in Palais Bellevue not only showcases the life and work of the composer and conductor Louis Spohr but also connects historical themes with modern formats and interactive offerings for families. A variety of exhibits are on display - from instruments to personal everyday items.
